Thanks Dave. Love the music, you captured my love of the Caribbean even in my first podcast.

Sonia this was EXCELLENT! We were guests, Doreen, Lee and I, on Blogging with Micheal which is a podcast that’s part of Blog Talk Radio. We toyed with the idea of doing our own radio show as The Blogstresses, but none of us had the time.
However, I love the idea of making the occasional podcast for my blog. Now I’m going to check out the apps and delve deeper into it.
I agree… love Dave’s accent!
Thank you to both of you!

I remember the podcast as I called in during your interview with him. Let’s keep each other accountable for doing our own podcasts. OK?

Oh my, one more thing to learn how to do. It’s a neverending battle to keep up, Sonia.

I know what you mean, but Dave is right; it is a great way for authors such as you Patricia, to have a new way to “connect” with your readers. Did you check out spreaker.com?
Dave Thackeray says
We sure had fun. But enough talk – time for some action! 🙂
Seriously, anyone who jumps in and creates a regular radio show in the name of their business or brand can enjoy a huge advantage over everyone else.
More than that, podcasting can be the springboard for thinking seriously and efficiently about your content marketing strategy.
Just do it!

Dave,
I was wondering if you’ve put together some e-books to help those who need information in written format, how to get their content organized, how to start, etc?

Shirley, thanks-a-million for renoemmndicg both of these opportunities. As you know, I submitted a mini-memoir to Sonia’s contest and she plans to post it soon. I also took part in Tessa’s class this afternoon. It was very worthwhile. Yes, I am writing a memoir, working title Playing By Fear , about the five years I led my church’s music program as a volunteer while simultaneously leading the fundraising and communications division of a national nonprofit organization. As scary as that was at the time (hence, Playing By Fear), I find that writing memoir has its own unique fear-factors. I also find that your web site and the connections it offers are helpful in facing the fears and doing the work. Please keep up the great work, Shirley. You have made a difference in my life already!
