Julia Rice asked me to participate in her research on what beauty means at different stages of my life.  I’d love it if you would check out her blog, read my guest post, “What does Beauty Mean to You?” and leave a comment on Julia’s blog.

Would you like to participate in her project about women and aging? You can read more about Julia Rice here.

Julia asks 3 questions about beauty and aging for a guest post.

(Please don’t laugh at my photo above. I know I have the poodle look.)

So funny but at a party this weekend, we were discussing this very thing… one of the girls was in her 20s, one in her 30s and me and I told them to just wait….
things that we used to fret and worry over in our 20s just are not important after you leave those decades behind because you realize that things are beautiful on their own…without the need for primping and worrying so much. 🙂

Yes that is a coincidence. I agree with you that age offers advantages that beauty offers when we’re very young.
At 50+, which I know you’re not, I think I’m taking more care of myself than before.

sonia, that shot of you is precious!! doesn’t look like it was taken that long ago, either.

i think the beauty of a person as they age is enhanced by their wisdom. confidence and self possession are extremely attractive traits.

That is a classic picture of you Sonia! For me, all ages have different meaning to beauty but I truly believe that it is confidence, courage and being fierce that sets out one beauty from another! Go girl! 🙂

    Hi Amanda,

I agree with you about wisdom and confidence being attractive traits and it also helps to take care of yourself. Thanks.
