It seems too simple, but are you taking the test because you would like to be eligible for a job in the foreign service, perhaps in a consulate abroad?

  2. Hit 40 says

Why are you taking this test…

#1 Your prozac ran out. Your off your rocker

    #2 Mid life crisis

#3 You were drinking and… it just sounded like a good party game to take the test.

#4 YOU WANT TO WORK WITH MICHEL IN SUDAN!!!!

I did not see Michel on your follower list??? You must come find her on my blog. She works at the Embassy in Sudan.

I would say question 1 is letter A.

Why taking the test? You are going to be a census taker.

If you come to visit …. Cheryl and I will be very surprised since we live a loooooooooong way from you guys! wb

OK GUYS, I'm supposed to be studying but I had to take a peek at my comments. That's more EXCITING than STUDYING. If I'm not careful, my kids might tell me off, and that I need to get back to work.

    @ Shirley
When you said, "t seems too simple," I hope you didn't mean the questions. Now I feel like a complete idiot, not knowing the answers. I must say, it's been so long since I studied for a test, that I feel sorry for my kids in high school.

    @Hit 40,
You really made me laugh. You're right, it's all 4 of those. But you also need to answer the 3 test questions to win the prize. I need to find Michel. Please help me Michel, pass the test tomorrow.

    @Warren
You're the first one to answer one of the questions. What about the other two. I shall let you know the results later. Thanks for visiting.

Good luck! You'll rock that test!

Not interested in a prize, and since Warren beat me by answering (correctly) Q1 as A, I suppose I'm not eligible. But for the record, I'm going to guess Q3 as D. I'll add Q2 is B.

For what it's worth, or not.

You're taking the test because you want your family to see the world (as part of your continuing trek or saga), and you don't like grass growing beneath your feet (at least, not for too long).

But what do Bears know, anyhow?

    Question:
    1. A
    2. D
    3. D

As for why… So you can move abroad again and work for the US government.

    Am i close?

  9. Christina says

I have no idea why you're taking this test or what any of the answers are, but GOOD LUCK!!!!!

A,D,D, sounds right to me too….

hopefully you don't have ADD as you take the test :), just kidding.

    Best of luck…

I like the answer about 'your prozac running out as for why you are taking the test'…

My guess: You seem like a person who always like a challenge and never stop learning, so I'm guessing you're taking it to challenge yourself, and perhap also, this will spawn another trip to a wonderful place 🙂

Good grief! I was wondering why anyone would take that test:) I could never pass it.
    I hope it went well.

    cannot wait to hear more!

How exciting! This looks like a test I'd like to take. CIA or FBI?

I don't even know what a Foreign Service Officer does… but if they travel, then I'm guessing that's why you want to do it.

    Answers in order: A, B, and D

So this is almost Monday. How did you feel about the test? We're sitting here like that cat that ate the cheese, and waited for the mice with "baited breath."

    Please tell us what happened!!!

I hope you did well in your test! I've been away all weekend so not visiting either.

My guess is you want to work abroad in the Foreign Offices, embassies or consulates and so this is a good way of doing it while still being paid. Hey – maybe you'll even be posted to Belize!

    Not a bad plan!

This kind of sounds like fun. Do they have a book you can use to study with?

It's interesting to see just how pervasive memory has become in our every day lives. It's like everywhere I turn, I see something with a card slot or USB jack, lol. I guess it makes sense though, considering how much more afforable memory has become lately…

Ahhh… who am I to complain. I can't make it through a single day without using my R4 / R4i!
